**PLEASE NOTE**

Luna's House Animal Care & Education Center is currently not open to the general public, as we feel it is important to do our part to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have had a lot to consider regarding the safety and well-being of our volunteers & their families, as well as our adopters, clients, and supporters.

Luna's House is not processing any adoptions for our rescue animals at this time.

Our animals are safe and happy at our facility and are being cared for by dedicated volunteers daily. Some of these volunteers are elderly, diabetic, in treatment for cancer, are cancer survivors, or otherwise have compromised immune systems. As such, we cannot risk that any of these amazing individuals would contract COVID-19 and suffer severe, even life-threatening symptoms.

We will resume the processing of adoptions once the public health crisis caused by COVID- 19 has subsided. Unfortunately, we are not able to determine when this will be--but if we all do our parts by following recommended hygiene protocols, social distancing, and *staying home,* it will be as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope that you remain safe and healthy.

Dogs for Adoption

*Meet and Greets are by appointment, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to schedule yours today*

Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen for each dog so they require a home visit. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered. Sorry, no exceptions. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately. We receive many applications for each dog and review each one choosing which one is the best fit for the dog. If you are not chosen for a particular dog it does not mean you are not a good home, there may have been applications received prior to yours or it may not be the right fit for the dog. We spend a large amount of time with the dogs and know their personality the best. Please don’t be discouraged in finding the perfect companion for your family. We rescue many dogs and one may be just the right one for you, please keep checking our website for available dogs. The adoption fee is $ 250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. Download an application here. Like us on Facebook!!
