Luna's House Animal Care & Education Center is currently not open to the general public, as we feel it is important to do our part to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have had a lot to consider regarding the safety and well-being of our volunteers & their families, as well as our adopters, clients, and supporters.
Luna's House is not processing any adoptions for our rescue animals at this time.
Our animals are safe and happy at our facility and are being cared for by dedicated volunteers daily. Some of these volunteers are elderly, diabetic, in treatment for cancer, are cancer survivors, or otherwise have compromised immune systems. As such, we cannot risk that any of these amazing individuals would contract COVID-19 and suffer severe, even life-threatening symptoms.
We will resume the processing of adoptions once the public health crisis caused by COVID- 19 has subsided. Unfortunately, we are not able to determine when this will be--but if we all do our parts by following recommended hygiene protocols, social distancing, and *staying home,* it will be as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope that you remain safe and healthy.
Reptiles for Adoption
*Please note: Because we are an all-volunteer rescue, meet & greets for reptiles are scheduled by appointment, after an adoption application has been submitted and approved.
Submitting an adoption application does not hold you obligated to adopt, or to adopt a particular reptile.
Thank you so much for your understanding. We look forward to working with you! *
