At Luna’s House, we believe that every animal deserves love, care, and the opportunity to live a full and happy life—no matter their circumstances. Luna’s House is often called upon to come to the aid of animals in urgent need. The Horizon Project (HP) is a critical care program for companion animals in distress.
The Horizon Project is dedicated to providing compassionate care for animals with special medical, behavioral, or long-term needs. These animals may require extended rehabilitation, lifelong management, or a patient and experienced adopter who understands their unique situation.At Luna’s House, we provide humane education through:

Luna’s House is continually broadening the scope of our urgent care initiative, and needs volunteers to assist with response to emergency inquiries, animal transport for veterinary treatment, and the after-care support required to serve more animals in critical situations.
