Humane education is at the heart of our mission to improve the lives of animals.
By teaching others how to care for animals responsibly and compassionately, we can inspire a community that values and protects its animal companions.
At Luna’s House, we provide humane education through:
Adopter Education: Ensuring every adopter is equipped with the knowledge to give their new companion the best possible care.
Community Events: Sharing information and resources at public events through information tables and interactive displays.
Educational Tours: Hosting Scout troops, school groups, and other community organizations for engaging and educational tours of our facility.
Outreach Efforts: Connecting with the community through programs that promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
Humane Education is perhaps the most important aspect of working in animal welfare. We believe that even a small group of dedicated individuals can make all the difference in the world.
